Brilliant bit of kit for the price. The 24Mpts memory depth is a game changer for capturing I2C bus lockups on my PCB designs. Much more responsive than my old bench scope.

A very capable 2-channel scope. It does everything I need for SMPS repair. I do occasionally wish I had sprung for a 4-channel version for complex logic, but for 90% of jobs, this is flawless.
Initial Setup Guide
- Connect the included UK mains cable and power on the unit via the front-panel switch. Allow 15 minutes for thermal stabilisation for maximum accuracy.
- Connect the PVP2150 probes to Channel 1 and Channel 2, ensuring the probe attenuation switch matches the channel settings (usually 10X).
- Attach the probe tip to the front-panel 1kHz compensation signal terminal and the ground clip to the ground terminal.
- Press 'AUTO' to display the square wave. Use the included adjustment tool to tweak the probe compensation capacitor until the square wave has perfectly flat tops.
- You are now ready to probe your circuit. Use the Horizontal and Vertical scale dials to adjust your waveform, and the Trigger menu to stabilise the signal.
